Our basic rules will be as follows and will be subject to change as the number of competitors increase,the intent of these rules are not to constrict the competitors but to increase the number of racers in the Baja class and to promote safe fun for all involved
Eligible vehicles::HPI Baja--All Baja clones,King Motor, Smart tech,Redcat Racing, FG marder,, all 4x4 buggys after the first week will be "asked" to remove the front drive shaft
Basic Chassis:: nerf bars are reccomended but not mandatory as well as bumpers,please make sure there are no sharp objects on your car that could injure a track worker or marshall. For now there will be no minimum weight but we will ask that your car does not weigh more than 30 lbs(for safety)
Pipes:: no pipe extending out of the confines of the cage or body,,no side pipes-jetpros or side doms, rear doms are ok, Xcans are ok,Stock SS tuned pipes are ok and stock 5b or 5t mufflers ok.
Engines:: All Zenoah 2 bolt and 4 bolts, Cy and Cy copy engines ok,HPI fuelys and clone fuelys up to 31.5 CC, no reed valve engines, Boss or Solo reed case engines
Tires:: all Hpi and clone baja 5b and 5t tires OK,,dirtbusters-tarmacs, also hostile slicks allowed,1/4 scale BRP tires allowed with adapters, NO 1/5 SCALE TOURING CAR TIRES
Above all have FUN if you show up here with an eligible vehicle you will be allowed to race, we will work with you as much as possible to make sure you have a SAFE and FUN day of racing!

In an effort to help "stimulate interest" in our new Baja Modified class we will be offering a complete clear lexan pavement modified body for your HPI or King Motor baja at actual material cost, we will update soon on the cost but it will be right around $40.00 this body will be available for patrons of Old Cedar Speedway only and will NOT be shipped or sold outside of the speedway. We will be posting pics very soon of our pavement modified body so keep checking the website!
